At Live Overt, we are highly committed to maintaining your trust while you interact and engage on our site. To accomplish this, we want you to know that we never sell, rent, trade, or give away your email address, name, or any other personal information for marketing reasons. We will ask for your name, address, phone number, and credit/debit card number when you order a product from us. We use this information to provide the item to you, and to collect your payment. We use services like PayPal and Square to collect your payment information, but we do not store your credit/debit card on file on our site. If you have an account with either of those services, they may have different information for you.
Live Overt uses Google Analytics to help us gather generic information about the number of visitors to our site, and their behavior patterns while they are visiting us. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. This information only allows us to look at numbers, not personal information.
As part of the registration process for our forums, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons: to give you access to restricted community content on the forums; to provide you additional information about your forum usage (such as warnings or account suspension/deletion); to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to ensure that our records are accurate and to check in once in a while to make sure you are still happy with our content. If you wish to have your account removed from the forums, please email alex@liveovert.com, and we will remove you. We don’t rent or trade your information with other organizations or businesses.
In the future, we may begin using a third-party email provider to deliver additional content that you sign up for, such as newsletters or forum feeds. At that time, we may obtain statistics around your email usage. If/When this becomes a feature we offer, we will update this notice to provide more information.
